If you are visiting the Disney Parks, please be mindful of this advisory and take breaks when needed. Disney also offers FREE water at all counter-service dining locations. Severe thunderstorms will also affect Disney transportation, including the Skyliner and boat transportation. This may affect guests utilizing Disney parking lots with heat advisories in place. When temperatures reach these levels, Disney puts safety measures in place for Cast Members. Strong to severe thunderstorms can be expected as well. Although at this time, they are still in the double digits but with a heat index of 101° to 108°. There is a risk of Walt Disney World reaching triple digits as well. The entire state is experiencing “extremely hot and humid conditions.” The Western part of Florida may experience temperatures in the triple digits.
This morning the Florida Division of Emergency Management issued a warning to both residents and guests of Florida. It also seems as if the heat was cranked up as well.
The Disney Parks are getting busier as guests arrive to celebrate the 4th of July at the “Most Magical Place on Earth” in a few days.
